Why Play a GPS Outdoor Activity?
Whether you're looking to explore your favourite city, let loose your inner 007 or dive into some action-packed suspense Dan Brown-style, our GPS outdoor activities are designed to engage your inner explorer! We provide over 2,000 fun, interactive team events each year for 70,000 participants living in 23 different countries around the world. Our interactive challenges are designed to get you thinking!
Teams will be briefed by one of our Remote Hosts then break off into smaller groups to ensure maximum engagement. Our expert hosts will be on standby throughout the activity to support teams, encourage communication and provide a fun virtual wrap up at the end of the activity.
How long do your GPS outdoor activities last?
Our GPS outdoor activities have been designed to last between 90-120 minutes.
How many people can take part?
Our GPS outdoor activities can be run for any group size, whether your team is made up of 5 people, 50 people or 5000.
What do we need to take part?
In order to play our outdoor activities, each player will need a smartphone (iOS or Android) with access to a camera, location services and mobile data. You'll also need access to a laptop with video conferencing software downloaded (Zoom etc) for the briefings. As with all our outdoor team activities, we ask that you please wear comfortable footwear.
Are your GPS treasure hunts a good option for a conference breakout session?
Yes, they're perfect for a conference breakout session. They've all been designed to help people work together, collaborate and get to know one another better. They're great to help break the ice and facilitate seminars during a conference.
What locations can I choose from?
The choice is yours! The great thing about our GPS treasure hunts is that they can be run all over the world! However we do recommend checking local restrictions before arranging an activity in a certain area or country.
How do we find the GPS hotspots?
Once you've downloaded your game in our Mobile Adventures app, you'll be presented with a map of your chosen location littered with an array of interactive hotspots. You'll be able to see your live location at all times in order to navigate to each one.
Do teams follow a trail or follow each other?
No - the game can be completed in any order and teams make their own decision about which 'hotspots' to visit and in which order they complete the tasks.
